Itinerary FOR; 2 DAYS TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO ZAGORA DESERT :

Day1: MARRAKECH – TIZI N TICHKA PASS – OUARZAZATE – ZAGORA

Our first destination from Marrakech is the High Atlas mountains across Tizi N tichka pass to enjoy in one of the best Morocco tours .

Our journey will start at 8 am and we will take you from your hotel and it will take with us about 6 kilometers across many Berber villages to arrive to Ksar ( a fortified village)of Ait Ben Haddou. From which we will visit Kasbah where we can go to film studios  . Some of the films like  Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile. And Sahara with Penélope Cruz… etc, are filmed there.

We want you to know that  in 1986 ,Kasbah is considered by the UNESCO as an international heritage so it is  a great chance  to visit a place like this  .

After lunch we head to Zagora desert  through Anti Atlas mountains and arrive there at around 5 pm , but our camp is far from the place where we stop our cars and we have to complete the trip on camels   for about one hour . And at about the sunset we will arrive and have dinner .

In this camp there are shows with drums and Berber music. Also you will experience staying a night out in the desert under the stars . It is a fantastic way to finish  a good day like this.

Day2: ZAGORA DESERT – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

Watching the sunrise over the dunes will be the beginning of our second day in the trip. So we  wake up early in the morning in order not to miss the fantastic views . We will leave the camp after breakfast and go back to Zagora to drive our cars to Draa valley.

This valley is located along Draa river ,which is the longest river in Morocco. It flows all over the country to cross Mauritania and ends in the  Atlantic Ocean.

Don’t worry you  will have the freedom to enjoy the views and  take photos in any place we pass on .

From Anti Atlas mountains   we will arrive  to Ouarzazate and  Taourirt Kasbah , the cinema studios and cinema museums are good places to visit .

The last place to visit before going to the hotel in Marrakech, is Tizi N tichka port to have lunch there.
