Itinerary FOR: 6 DAYS MOROCCO ITINERARY

Day 1: MARRAKECH – High atlas mountains – DADES GORGES:

In the morning you’ll be picked up from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech and head toward Dades Gogres, admiring the amazing landscapes along the way. We’ll stop at an Argan oil cooperative where you’ll learn about the Argan oil making process. After that, we will pass through Tizi N Tichka pass (2260meters). There, you’ll enjoy a fascinating views over the High Atlas Mountains. Afterward, we’ll continue your trip toward Ouarzazate, known as Hollywood of Africa. Making Stop at the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site where many movies have been filmed like Gladiator and The Mummy.

After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate where you’ll visit the famous kasbah of Taourirt and Film Studio of Ouarzazate. Visiting Skoura Oasis and Kalaat M’gouna, known as the Rose City where you’ll visit local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. Then proceed to Dades Gorges where you’ll visit the Rock formation known as Monkey Fingers before transferring you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Dades gorges – Todra Gorges – MERZOUGA DESERT:

After breakfast at your accommodation in Dades Gorges, we’ll pass through the oasis of Tinghir enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Arriving at Todra Gorges, one of the Highest and narrowest Gorges in Morocco, enjoy a walk through the Gorges. After a hearty lunch, proceed to Merzouga desert enjoying the incredible sceneries along the way. We’ll pass through some Berber villages including Melaab, Tinjdad. Late afternoon, arrive in Arfoud known as ”The Date Capital” where you’ll visit a fossil museum in the city. Following that, continue to Merzouga desert where you’ll meet your camel guide and start youe camel ride adventure through the marvelous dunes of Merzouga. Stopping for a breathtaking sunset and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the second night of your 6 days Morocco itinerary

Day 3: MERZOUGA DESERT – MIDELT – CEDAR FOREST – FES

In the morning, wake up for a wonderful sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga; then return to your desert camp for breakfast. After that, ride camel and head to the dunes line where you’ll meet your driver, then continue toward Fes. Stopping at a fantastic panorama over the city of Aoufous, where you’ll see one of the largest oasis in the region.

Following that, cross the middle Atlas Mountains, enjoying the incredible landscapes along the way. We’ll then stop at Tizi N Tichka pass before heading to Midelt known as ” The Apple Capital” After lunch, drive to Fes through passing through Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s Largest Forest. After that, continue to Ifrane known as  ” Morocco’s Little Switzerland”  where you’ll visit the Atlas lion statue before crossing the Immouzzar Kander. Arriving in Fes then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4: Fes Full day tour:

In the morning, you’ll meet your local guide of Fes and Set off on a sightseeing tour of the city. You’ll visit the old Medina of Fes, walk through its lovely narrow streets, and wander through its traditional souks. After that, visit Al Qaraouine university, world’s oldest university and UNESCO world heritage site. Then, you’ll explore Attarine and Bou Inania Madrasas. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to visit Batha Museum and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the founder of the city. Following that, we’ll head to Tanneries where animal leather is used to make clothes, bags and shoes. Late afternoon, we will take you to Borj Nord where you’ll see the whole Medina of Fes before taking you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5: Fes – Meknes – Rabat -CASABLANCA – Marrakech

In the morning, we’ll continue your 6 days Morocco itinerary heading  toward Marrakech enjoying the incredible landscapes along the way. We will stop in Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities where you’ll visit Bab Mansour, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the founder of the city and Heri Es Souani. After that,  we’ll proceed to Rabat, Morocco ‘s capital city where you’ll explore Hassan Tower,  an unfinished minaret in the heart of Rabat. Then, visit Mausoleum of Mohamed V. After that, visit Oudaya Kasbah, an ancient kasbah offering a fantastic view over the Atlantic ocean.

After lunch, we’ll drive to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city, explore Hassan II Mosque, second largest Mosque in Africa, accommodating up to 100, 000 worshippers before heading Marrakech. Arriving in Marrakech, drop you off at your accommodation where you’ll spend the last night of your Morocco 6 days itinerary.

Day 6: MARRAKECH FULL DAY TOUR:

In the morning, you’ll meet your local guide of Marrakech and start your sightseeing tour of Marrakech. You’ll visit Bahia Palace and Saadian Tombs. Following that, you’ll visit Majorelle Garden, a fantastic garden in the New Town of Marrakech with plants including Bambo, palm trees, and Cactus. Following that, we’ll head Mena Garden, a fantastic garden in Marrakech. After that, visit Ben Youssef Madrasa, a historic school in the heart of Marrakech. Following that, explore Koutoubia Mosque, second largest Mosque in Morocco then walk through the lively sequare of Djamaa Lfena where you’ll enjoy some activities including snake charmers, musicians, and storytellers. Depending on your flight time, we’ll transfer you to the airport or accommodation in Marrakech.
