10 DAYS TOUR FROM TANGIER TO DESERT AND MARRAKECH

Let’s go an incredible 10 day tour of Morocco, explore the northern part of Morocco including Tangier, and Chefchaouen, Morocco’s blue pearl. Afterward, continue to the south of Morocco visiting the imperial cities of Meknes, Fes where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the city’s historic attractions including Al Qaraouine university world’s oldest university and UNESCO world heritage site.

You’ll proceed toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga, passing through Ifrane and Cedar Forest, Morocco’s largest Forest. Continuing to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where you will enjoy a camel ride through the dunes of Merzouga with overnight stay in the middle of the desert. The following day,  Proceed toward Todra Gorges & Dades Gorges, taking in the finest sceneries along the road of 1000 kasbahs.

We’ll then explore the oasis of Skoura before continuing to Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, A UNESCO world heritage site and best place for filmmakers including Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy. Finally, proceed to Marrakech where you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city concluding your trip with a day tript to Essaouira.

Itinerary FOR: 10 DAY TOUR OF MOROCCO:

Day 1: Arrival in tangier – Transfer to the hotel

Upon arrival at Tangier airport, or port, our driver will warmly welcome you and then transfer you to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may start your tour of Tangier, visit Hercules caves, Stroll through the lively winding streets of the old Medina of Tangier. After that, explore Cape Spartel whee the mediterranean sea meets the Atlantic ocean then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your 10 day tour of Morocco.

Day 2: tangier– AKCHOUR– Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen:

After breakfast at your accommodation in Tangier, we’ll depart toward the Blue city of Chefchaouen admiring the finest sceneries along the way. We’ll pass through Akchour, one of the finest waterfalls in Morocco, walk through its lovely river. After that, we’ll proceed toward Blue city of Chefchaouen, taking in the amazing landscapes along the Riff Mountains. Arriving in Chefchaouen. Explore the Blue city of Chefchaouen, walk through the vibrant narrow streets of the old Medina, visit the spanish mosque and Ras Lma waterfalls before taking you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night enjoying the silence of the city.

Day 3: cHEFHCOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MKENES – Fes: 

In the morning, we will set off toward Meknes, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Stopping at Volubilis, one of best preserved Roman ruins in North Africa and UNESCO world heritage site, enjoy a  guided tour through this arecheological sites then continue toward Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities where you’ll explore Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the founder of the city. Then visit Heri Es Souani, and Bab Mansour Gate. Following that, proceed toward Fes where you’ll spend the thrid night of your 10 day tour of Morocco.

Day 4: Fes Full day sightseeing tour:

In the morning, after breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, We’ll set off on a sightseeing tour of the city. First, explore the old Medina of Fes, walk through its lively narrow streets and then visit Al Qaraouine university world’s oldest university and UNESCO world heritage site. Afterward, proceed to Tanneries where annimal leather is used to make clothes, bags and shoes.

After that, head to Attarine and Bouaaania Madrasa, one of the oldest Qoranic schools in Fes. We’ll head to Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the founder of the city then visit Batha museum before heading to the southern tower where you’ll have the change to see the whole Medina of fes before transferring you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5: FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – ZIZ AVALLEY – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA

After a heart breakfast at your riad in Fes. We’ll depart toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga, admiring the lovely sceneries along the way. Passing through Immouzar Kandar and Ifrane famously known as ” Morocco’s little Switzerland” where you’ll visit the famous Atlas Lion Statue then continue through the Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest forest, where you’ll take some fascinating photographs with Barbary Monkeys. After that, we’ll take the road through Boulaajoul and Midelt known as The Apple Capital” where you’l stop for lunch.

Proceed to Errachidia, passing through Tizi N Talghamt pass and Zaabal Tunnel before arriving in Aoufous, where you’ll enjoy a fantastic panorama over, one of the largest oasis in the region. Late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga desert where you’ll start your camel ride adventure through the incredible dunes. Stopping for a breathtaking sunset then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night.

Day 6: SAHARA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

 In the morning, wake up for a wonderful sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. Then return to your desert camp for breakfast before heading toward Dades Gorges. We’ll pass through the Gray Desert taking the best sceneries along the way. Stopping in Rissani, one of the ancient cities in Morocco, where you’ll visit Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum, one of the famous filalien leaders in the region.

Continue through Jorf, and Fezna where you’ll visit an ancient irrigation system used by the nomads to water their farms many years ago. Later continue to Todra Gorges, where you’ll explore one of the tallest and narrowest gorges in Morocco.After lunch in the heart of gorges, we’ll continue your 10 days tour of Morocco through the red Mountains taking the amazing landscapes along the way. Arriving in Dades Gorges where you’ll visit the rock formation known as Monkey fingers and the winding road of Tisaderine, a beautiful road over Dades Gorges. Late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night in Dades Valley.

Day 7: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

After breakfast at your riad in Dades Valley, we’ll proceed toward Kalaat M’gouna known as the rose city where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. Afterward, continue through  the road of 1000 kasbahs, admiring the incredible landscapes along the way. We’ll stop in Skoura where you’ll visit Ameridile Kasbah, one of the oldest kasbahs in the region. After that, head to Ouarzazate, known as ”Hollywood of Africa” where you’ll explore the film Studio of Ouarzazate, and Taourirt kasbah.

After lunch, we’ll head to Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage and best place for filmmakers where many films have been shot like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy. Late afternoon, we’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains, admiring the breathtaking scenerie along the way. Stopping at Tizi N Tichka pass where you’ll stop for some photographing opportunities. Following that, proceed to Marrakech dropping you off at your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 8: MARRAKECH CITY TOUR

After a hearty breakfast, Start your sightseeing tour of Marrakech with local tour guide. We’ll first explore the old Medina of Marrakech, walk through its busy streets and souks including Souk Sekkakine and Souk Semmarine. Following that, visit Saadian Tombs, El Badi Palace and Majorelle Garden, one of the finest places in Marrakech where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Yves saint Laurent Museum and Berber palace while exploring Majorelle Garden. Next, visit Menara Garden and Koutoubia Mosque, second largest Mosque in Morocco. Late afternoon, we’ll head to Djmaa Lfena sequare where you’ll have the chance to watch some activities including snake charmers, musicians, magicians and storytellers before taking your to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 9 :DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA

Today, we’ll take you on a fantastic day trip to Essaouira. After breakfast at your accommodation in Marrakech, we’ll set off toward Essaouira, admiring the amazing landscapes along the way. We’ll pass through Argan Trees and stop to take some photographs with harvesting goats. Later on, proceed to Essaouira. Upon arrival in Essaouira, famously known as” The Windy city” enjoy a guided tour through the winding streets of the old Medina of Essaouira, visit Art Gallery, stroll through the vibrant streets and visit Essaouira port where you’ll see the Blue boats known as Berber boats.

After that, enjoy lunch by the breathtaking beaches of Essaouira. The city is famous for its clean, relaxing and beautiful beaches offering a great opportunity for surfing, swimming and kietsurfing. After being done with Essaouira. We’ll depart toward Marrakech admiring the amazing landscapes along the way. Arriving in Marrakech transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the last night of your 10 day tour of Morocco.

Day 10:Marrakech – Airport

In the morning, depending on your flight time, we’ll transfer you to the airport in Marrakech concluding your trip with amazing memories.
