Itinerary FOR: 10 DAYS TOUR FROM CASABLANCA TO MARRAKECH

Day 1: Casablanca – Transfer to the hotel

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at the airport in Casablanca, our driver will be waiting for you to transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your 10 days Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

In the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Casablanca, then head toward the imperial cities of Morocco. We will stop in Rabat, Morocco’s capital where you’ll visit Hassan Tower, an unfinished minaret in the heart of Rabat. Afterward, visit Oudaya kasbah, an old fortified kasbah with a fantastic view over the Atlantic ocean. We will then continue toward Chefchaouen, appreciating the marvelous landscapes along the Riff Mountains. Arriving in Chefchaouen, enjoy a guided trip through the winding streets and alleyways of the old Medina of Chefchaouen, visit Ras Lma waterfall, and the Spanish Mosque. later, enjoy a sunset view over the blue city of Chefchaouen before transferring you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3:Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen – Fes

In the morning, after breakfast at your Riad in Chefchaouen, depart toward Fes, admiring the incredible landscapes along the way. Stopping in Volubilis, best preserved Roman ruins and UNESCO world heritage site, walk through these archeological sites with a guide. Following that, proceed to Meknes, one of the imperial cities of Morocco. Upon arrival in Meknes, visit Bab Mansour Gate, Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Heri Es Souani. Late afternoon, head to Fes, dropping you off at your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4: Fes Full day sightseeing tour:

In the morning, after breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, you’ll meet your local tour guide of Fes. Then start your sightseeing tour of the city. We will first visit the old Medina of Fes, walk through its winding alleyways and streets. Then explore Al Qaraouine university, world’s oldest university and UNESCO world heritage. Following that, head Chaoury Tanneries where animal leather is used to make clothes, bags, and shoes. Afterward, explore Attarine and Bouaanania Madrasa before taking you to Batha museum. Late afternoon, visit Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the founder of the city of Fes and then take you to Ennajarine Fountain where you’ll explore a variety of products including textiles, carpet and pottery products. Then take you to the southern tawoer where you’ll see the whole Medina of Fes and then transfer you to your riad where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5: Fes – Cedar Forest of Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga deserty:

After breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, depart from Fes and drive toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga, passing through the finest landscapes along the way. Stopping at Ifrane, known as Morocco’s little Switzerland, where you’ll visit Atlas Lion Statue and then continue toward Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest Forest, where you’ll take some photographs with Barbary Monkeys. Following that, cross the middle Atlas Mountains. Arriving in Midelt known as ” The Apple Capital” where you’ll stop for lunch. Late afternoon, we will descend through Ziz Valley, admiring the incredible landscapes along the way passing through Tizi N Talghamt pass ( She -Camel pass).

Arrive in Aoufous, where you’ll enjoy a fantastic panorama over the oasis of Aoufous then continue to Erfoud, famously known as” The Date Capital” then proceed to Merzouga desert where you will meet your camel guide and start a camel ride through the dunes of Merzouga. We will stop for a breathtaking sunset and then continue to your desert camp in the middle of the the desert where you’ll enjoy a fantastic drumming party around the campfire.

Day 6: Merzouga Full day tour:

Wake up for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga, then start your Merzouga tour, head off road behind the dunes of Merzouga where you’ll visit nomad families, learn about their lifestyle and try Berber Pizza. Following this experience, we will continue to Khamlia where you’ll meet an African group listen to their music and explore their lifestyle. Following that, head to Merzouga where you’ll have lunch before heading to the oasis of Hassi Lbeid. Afterward, enjoy some free time for buggy, quad, if interested. Late afternoon, we will transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 7: Merzouga – Errissani – Jorf – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley/ Gorges

After a hearty breakfast at your Riad in Merzouga, leave the desert and head toward Fes. We pass through the Gray desert, admiring the finest sceneries along the way. We stop in Rissani where you’ll visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, one of the oldest and leaders of Tafilalet. Next, walk through the souks of Rassini, and explore the traditional vibrant souks. Following that, continue your 10 days Morocco tour toward Todra Gorges, admiring the breathtaking sceneries along the way. Stopping at Todra Gorges, where you’ll enjoy its marvelous landscapes then proceed to Dades Gorges. Passing through the red Mountains. We arrive at Dades Gorges, visit the rock formation known as Monkey Fingers and the wavy road of Tisadrine then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the city.

Day 8: Dades – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

We leave Dades Gorges and head toward Marrakech, passing through Kalaat M’gouna, known as the Rose City where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. Following that, take the magical road of 1000 Kasbahs, admiring the incredible sceneries along the way. Stopping at Ameridile kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the regions, along the way, you’ ll not fail to appreciate the incredible landscapes. Arriving in Ouarzazate, known as Hollywood of Africa, where you’ll visit Taourirt kasbah and Film Studio of Ouarzazate. Following that, proceed to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and best place for filmmakers, where many movies have been shot like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue toward Marrakech, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains, admiring the finest sceneries along the way. We will stop at Tizi N Tichka pass (2260m). After that, proceed to Marrakech where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation.

Day 9:Full Day To Visit Marrakech:

In the morning, meet your local tour guide of Marrakech, then start your sightseeing tour of the city by visiting Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs and Majorelle Garden, a beloved site with fantastic, plants, trees and colorful blue washed building. Following that, explore the ancient Medina of Marrakech, walk through its narrow streets, and winding alleyways. Afterward, marvel at Koutoubia Mosque, second largest Mosque in Morocco.
