 Let’s go on 12 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca to Marrakech. where you’ll explore the finest landscapes, historic attractions and landmarks of Morocco Set off your trip in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city where you’ll visit Hassan II Mosque, Africa’second largest Mosque. Then proceed to Rabat and Chefchaouen, Morocco’s Blue city where you’ll enjoy a guided tour through the city’s hidden gems. Afterward, immerse yourself in rich history of Roman ruins of Volubilis before continuing to Fes, one of Morocco’s ancient imperial cities.

Itinerary FOR: MOROCCO 12 DAYS ITINERARY:

Day 1: Casablanca – Transfer to the hotel

Upon arrival at the airport in Casablanca,  our driver will welcome you and then transfer you to your accommodation. Drop your luggage off and then visit Hassan II Mosque, Africa’s second largest mosque, extending up to 100,000 worshippers. Then, visit the old Medina of Casablanca, walk through its lively narrow streets and then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your 12 days Morocco itinerary. 

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen:

In the morning, after a breakfast at your accommodation in Casablanca. We leave toward Chefchaouen, admiring the finest sceneries along the way passing through Rabat, Morocco’s capital city where you’ll visit Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Oudaya Kasbah, an ancient kasbah overlooking the Atlantic ocean.

After lunch, continue toward the Blue city of Chefchaouen passing through the Riff Mountains taking in the finest sceneries along the way. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, enjoy a guided tour through the city, visit the Spanish Mosque and the old Medina of Chefchaouen, walk through its lovely narrow streets and visit a local cooperative for handcrafts in the city. Following that, proceed to Ras Lma waterfalls. Late afternoon, we will transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night enjoying the silence of the city.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Meknes– Fes:

In the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Chefchaouen and then head toward Fes, passing through the majestic Riff Mountains. Admiring the finest sceneries along the way. Stopping at Volubilis, one of the best preserved roman ruins and UNESCO world heritage site, enjoy a guided tour through this areological sites. Following that, proceed to Meknes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. Upon arrival in Meknes, we will visit Bab Mansour, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and Heri Es Souani. Late afternoon, drive toward Fes where you’ll spend the third night of your 12 days Morocco itinerary.

Day 4: Fes FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR:

After breakfast at your accommodation in Fes. Meet your local tour guide of Fes and then start your sightseeing tour of Fes, start with a visit to the old medina of Fes, walk through its lively narrow streets.  Following that,  explore Al Qaraouine university world’s oldest university and UNESCO world heritage site. After that,  explore Chaouary Tanneries where animal leather is used to make clothes, bags, and shoes. Afterward, proceed to Ennajjarine fountains, and Attarine Madrasa, one of the ancient schools in Fes. After lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll head to Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the founder of the city. Following that, we will take you to Batha museum and then transfer you to Borj Nord where you’ll see the whole medina of Fes before transferring you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast at your Riad in Fes. Then head toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga passing through Ifrane, known as ”Morocco’s little Switzerland” where you’ll visit the Atlas lion statue and then continue toward the Cedar Forest, Morocco’s largest forest where you’ll take some photographs with Barbary monkeys. Following that, cross the middle Atlas Mountains. Stopping in midelt where you’ll have lunch. Afterward, descend through Ziz Valley, admiring the finest sceneries along the way.

Stopping at Tizi N Talghamt pass where you’ll enjoy some views over the High Atlas Mountains. Following that, continue to Aoufous where you’ll enjoy a panorama over the oasis of Aoufous, one of the largest oasis in the region. Late afternoon, arrive in Erfoud known as ”The Date Capital” where you’ll visit a fossil museum in the city. Then continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where you’ll enjoy a camel ride through the lovely dunes of Merzouga. Stopping for a breathtaking sunset and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night with a drumming party around the campfire.

Day 6: merzouga FULL DAY TOUR:

Wake up early morning for a breathtaking sunrise over the lovely dunes of Merzouga. Then Set off on a full day tour of Merzouga enjoy an unforgettable day exploring the beauty and culture of the Merzouga region. We will first start with a visit to the villages around the Erg Chebbi dunes including Tanamoust, where you’ll visit an ancient National Car Museum. Following that, continue to nomadic families living in traditional tents, and learn about their way of life. Discover the seasonal lake of Merzouga, home to various bird species, including flamingos. Explore the fossil-rich areas and visit Khamlia village, famous for its Gnawa music, enjoy their fantastic music and then continue your tour toward Hassi Lbeid where you’ll enjoy a walk through its lovely oasis  (free time to try Buggy, Quad & Sandbaording). Late afternoon, transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night by the dunes of Merzouga.

Day 7: Merzouga – Errissani – Jorf – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley/ Gorges

In the morning, we will depart from Merzouga heading toward Rissani across the spectacular landscapes of the Sahara and the Atlas foothills. Passing through the rocky desert. Once in Rissani, explore the Mausoleum of Mooulay Ali cherif and then strol through the vibrant souks of Rissani.

Followig that, continue through the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs rise up to 320meters, and enjoy time to walk along the crystal-clear river that runs through the canyon. Pass through Berber villages, lush palm groves, and lovely valleys along the way. We will then continue through the red Mountains. Arriving in Dades Gorges where you’ll visit the rock formation known as Monkey Finger and the winding road of Tisadrine then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 8:Dades – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

In the morning after breakfast in Dades Gorges. Continue your 12 days Morocco itinerary towards Marrakech through some of Morocco’s most breathtaking sceneries. We continue your trip toward Khemis Dades and Kalaat M’gouna, known as the rose city where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products (optional stop). We will then continue to Rose Valley where you can take some some photographs with the rose fields. Afterward, proceed toward Skoura Oasis with its palm groves and kasbahs, the road is famously known as the road of 1000 kasbahs. We will visit Ameridile kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region.

Following that, proceed to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” and explore the famous Kasbah of Taourirt or the Atlas Film Studios. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a historic fortified village where many movies have been filmed like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy.  After lunch at a local restaurant, we proceed to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. Stopping at Tizi N Tichka pass 2260 meters High where you will take some photographs over the High Atlas Mountains and then continue to Marrakech dropping you off at your accommodation riad where you’ll spend the night.

Day 9: MARRAKECH FULL DAY TOUR: 

In the morning, after breakfast at your accommodation in Marrakech. We will start a sightseeing tour of Marrakech with its rich history, vibrant culture, and colorful markets. We will first visit Koutoubia Mosque, second largest mosque in Morocco and one of the iconic landmarks in the city. Followed by the Saadian Tombs, a historic 16th-century mausoleum. After that, we will head to Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture, and stroll through the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Then walk through the vibrant souks of the old Medina of Marrakech, visiting Ben Youssef Madrasa, one of the ancient koranic schools in the city. Late afternoon, we will take you to Djamaa Lfena square where you’ll enjoy some activities including snake charmers, musicians, storytellers and more. then take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 10:Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After a fantastic breakfast at your accommodation in Marrakech. We will depart from Marrakech and head toward Ouzoud waterfalls, one of the highest waterfalls in North Africa with a height of 110 meters. We pass through traditional Berber villages, olive trees and Argan trees surrounding the road. You’ll be treated to breathtaking landscapes along the way.

Arriving at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, the highest in North Africa, offering a breathtaking views from various lookout points, and take a leisurely stroll down the river where you’ll enjoy incredible landscapes. Following that, take a guided tour around the waterfalls to get more information about this hidden gems. Following that, if interested, you can go for a boat trip through the river appreciating the amazing sceneries. Late afternoon, drive back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying the finest landscapes along the way. Arriving in Marrakech drop you off at your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 11:Marrakech – Essaouira

After breakfast at your accommodation in Marrakech. Leave Marrakech by heading toward Essaouira appreciating the incredible landscapes along the way passing through Argan trees. We will stop at the harvesting goats where you’ll get the opportunity to take some photographs. Arriving in Essaouira, enjoy a guided tour around the city’s historic attractions including its old Medina which was settled by portuguse, Romans, Berber and Arabs making it an ideal destination for exploring the rich culture and history of Morocco. Following that, head to Sidi Kaouki, where you’ll enjoy a stroll through its breathtaking, clean and relaxing beaches then drive back to Marrakech. Late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the last night of your Morocco 12 days itinerary.

Day 12: Marrakech Aiport

After breakfast at your accommodation in Marrakech, our driver will safely transfer you to the airport in Marrakech, or Casablanca.
