Itinerary FOR: 3 DAYS DESERT TOUR FROM  MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA:

Day 1: MARRAKECH – High atlas mountains – DADES GORGES:

In the morning at 8:00 am, our driver will pick you up from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech. We’ll then depart toward Dades Gorges, admiring the lovely sceneries along the way, crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Stopping at Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 m). Continuing along the way toward Ait Ben Haddou kasbah. We’ll stop at an Argan oil cooperative where you’ll see how the Argan oil is made. After that, we’ll pass through Talouet,  where you’ll see the Berber villages, and visit Paradise panorama overlooking the Amazing Ounila valley. Arriving at Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site where many movies have been filmed like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and Mummy.

We will then continue toward Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit Taourirt kasbah and Film Studio of Ouarzazate. Afterward,  we’ll pass through the oasis of Skoura, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. We’ll visit Kalaat M’gouna, known as the Rose city where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. Late afternoon, we arrive in Dades Gorges where you’ll visit the rock formation known as Monkey Fingers and the wavy road of Tisadrine before taking you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your 3 day tour Marrakech to Merzouga desert.

Day 2: Dades gorges – Todra Gorges – MERZOUGA DESERT:

After a hearty breakfast, We’ll continue your 3 day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, crossin the palm groves of Tinghir admiring the incredible landscapes along the way. Stopping at Todra Gorges, one of the finest gorges in Morocco with a height of 320 m making a great destination for mountain climbers, enjoy a guided tour through the gorges then we’ll head to Tinjdad where you’ll have lunch before continur toward the Tafilalet oasis enjoy the incredible landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival  in Erfoud, famously known as ”the Date Capital”. After that, continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where you’ll meet your camel guide and set off on a camel ride adventure  through the dunes of Merzouga. Stopping for a magical sunset over the dunes of Merzouga before contiuning to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3: Merzouga desert- Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mounitains – Marrakech:

Wake up early morning for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast at your desert camp. We will then depart toward Rissani passing through the black desert. Arriving in Rissani, explore Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum, and then stroll through the lively souks of Rissani before heading toward Nkob, passing through the black Mountains and Djebl Saghru enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Stopping in Nkob known as the kingdom of Kasbah. After lunch at a local restaurant in Nkob. We will then pass through Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest valley then visit Agdez where you’ll enjoy a panorama over the city. Later on, we’ll cross Tizi N Ait Souen pass heading toward Marrakech. Late afternoon, we arrive in Marralech then transfer you to your accommodation or the airport concluding your 3 day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour with amazing memories.
