Itinerary FOR: 3 DAYS TOUR FROM  MARRAKECH TO Fes:

Day 1: MARRAKECH – High atlas mountains – DADES GORGES:

In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your acommodation or the airport in Marrakech. We’ll head toward the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying the lovely sceneries along the way. Stopping at a local cooperative where you’ll learn about Argan oil making process. After that, we will go up through Tizi N Tichka pass then continue to Ouarzazate along the way.

We’ll stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and best place where many movies have been filmed like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Following that, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate known as ”Hollywood of Africa”. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate we’ll visit Taourirt Kasbah and Film Studio of Ouarzazate. Afterward, pass through the palm groves of Skoura. Stopping at Kalaat M’gouna where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. Then we will proceed to Dades Gorges where you’ll visit the rock formation known as Moneky FIngers then take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes.

Day 2: Dades gorges – Todra Gorges – MERZOUGA DESERT:

In the morning, we will continue your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes toward Merzouga desert, enjoying the finest landscapes along the way. Passing through the palm groves of Tinghir. Arriving at Todra Gorges, enjoy a tour around the gorges then continue toward Merwoug. We’l pass through Berber villages including Tinjdad and Melaab where you’l stop for lunch. After that, continue to Merzouga desert  passing through tafilelt oasis. Late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga desert where you’ll meet your camel guide and set off on a camel ride through the dunes of Merzouga. Stopping for a breathtaking sunset then continue to your desert camp where you’ll enjoy a drumming party around the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga desert- Midelt- Cedar Forest of Azrou – Fes:

In the morning wake up for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast at your desert camp, we’ll head to Fes, taking the incredible landscapes along the way. We’ll stop at Erfoud known as ”The Date Capital”where you’ll visit a fossil museum in the city. Following that, we’ll proceed toward Midelt passing through Tizi N Talghamt pass, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Arriving in Midelt city known as ” The Apple Capital” explore the city. After lunch at a local restaurant, we’lll continue your tour toward Fes, passing through Cedar Forest, Morocco’s largest Forest. Afterward, we’ll then drive to Ifrane known as Morocco’s Little Switzerland where you will explore the Atlas Lion Statue.
