Itinerary FOR; 4 Days tour from Fes to Marrakech :
Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga:
In the morning after breakfast at your accommodation in Fes. We’ll depart from Fes and head to Sahara desert of Merzouga, admiring the finest sceneries along the way , enjoy the drive through Ifrane known as ” Little Morocco’s Switzerland ”, stop to visit Atlas Lion statue and the cedar forest of Azrou home to the famous Barbary macaques. Then proceed tward Zaida small berber village. Arriving Midelt known as the Apple Capital where you’ll stop for lunch.
Following that, continuing through Ziz valley. Stopping at Tizi N Talghomt pass in the Middle Atlas Mountains taking the finest landscapes along the way. Arriving at the panorama of Ziz Valley stop for some photographing opportunities over the palm groves. Continue to Aoufous crossing the lovely oasis of Tafilalte to Arfoud known as Date capital where you’ll visit Fossile Museum. Arriving in Merzouga where you will meet you camel guide adventure through the dune of Merzouga. Stopping to watch incredible sunset and experince Sandboarding before continuing to your desert camp. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed you with mint tea and overnight stay with drumming party around the compfire.
Day 2: Tour around the Desert of Merzouga – Visiting Nomadic Families:
Your hosts at the camp will wake you up early in the morning to watch an incredible sunrise. After breakfast at the camp, your driver will pick you up and take you the tour around the dune of Merzouga, where you can enjoy a thrilling 4×4 , Visit a traditional nomadic Berber family, test a Berber pizza. Continuing through dune to M’ifis old French colonial mines. following that, head to town of Khamlia , listen to Africa Music .
Afterward you’ll head to Merzouga where you’ll stop for lunch, before heading to visit the Oasis of Hassi Lebid enjoy the lovely oasis. In the late afternoon you will climb the dune. Stopping at high dune enjoy a panoramic view of Merzouga. Here you’ll taking sandboarding experience before watching an incredible sunset then drop you off at your accommodation where you’ll spend the second night of your 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech.
Day 3: Merzouga desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Gorges Dades :
After breakfast at your accommodation in Merzouga ,our driver will pick you up and head to the next destination Rissani where you will visit the Souk traditional market is one of the most authentic souks in southern Morocco where you’ll find fresh products including, spices, dates, handmade crafts… etc. Continuing to Tinghir. Stopping at Khattarat, gently sloping underground channels , before heading to Gorges Todra one of the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco, admiring the finest sceneries along the way , then pass through the palm groves enjoy the lovely oasis. Arriving at Todra Gorges there with over 300 m, enjoy walk through the gorges.
Following that, continuing our day tward Dades , taking the finest landscapes along the way. Arrive in Dades Gorges, visit the famous rock formation known as ” Monkey Fingers ” before taking you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night .
Day 4: Gorges Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech :
In the morning after breakfast at your accommodation. Depart through wavy road of Tissedrine. After that, we pass through Kalaa M’gouna known as the rose city where you’ll visit local cooperatives to see how rose water and oils are made, then taking the road of 1000 Kasbahs, admiring the finest sceneries along the way. stopping to visit Kasbah of Amredile.
After that continuing to Ouarzazate known as “Hollywood of Africa” where you will visit Taourirt kasbah and Film Studio. Lunch time , before proceed to Ait Ben Haddou kasbah , a UNESCO world heriatge site, a popular filming location for movies and series such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy. Afterward, cross the high Atlas Mountains , taking in the finest landscapes along the way. Arriving at Tizi N Tichka pass ( 2260 Meters ), then continue our trip to Marrakech where your trip comes to an end with a transfer to the airport or accommodation in Marrakech.
