ITINERARY FOR: 8 DAYS TOUR FROM CASABLANCA TO IMPERIAL CITIES:
Day 1: Arrival in casablanca:
Upon arrival in Casablanca airport, our driver will warmly welcome you and then transfer you to your accommodation. Drop your luggage off and then set off on a tour around the city. We’ll visit Hassan II Mosque, Africa’second largest mosque, accommodating up to 100,000 worshippers. Afterward, visit the old Medina of Casablanca before transferring you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes
You will be pickted up from your hotel in Casablanca and set off toward Rabat, admiring the finest sceneries along the way. Arriving in Rabat, Morocco’s capital city, visit Hassan Tower, 12 century minaret in the heart of Rabat, then continue to Mausoleum of Mohamed V. After that, proceed to Oudaya kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the city overlooking the Atlantic ocean. After lunch, we leave Rabat and head toward Fes, admiring the incredible sceneries along the way.
Stopping in Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, where you’ll visit Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the founder of the city and Bab Mansour Gate. After that, continue to Heri Es Souni. After being done with Meknes, we continue our 8 days tour from Casablanca through Volubilis, the best preserved Roman ruins and UNESCO world heritage site, enjoy a guided tour through this archeological sites before heading toward Fes where you’ll spend the third night of your 8 days tour from Casablanca to the Imperial cities of Morocco
Day 3: Full Day To Visit Fes
In the morning, set off on a guided tour of the imperial city of Fes, it was established on 9th Century by Moulay Idriss I. We start with a visit to the old Medina of Fes, walk through its lively narrow streets filled with spice shops, carpets, textiles and more. Following that, visit Al Qaraouine university, world’s oldest university and UNESCO world heritage site. Afterward, explore Tanneries where animal leather is used to make clothes, shoes, bags…etc. We will then visit a pottery cooperative before heading Madrasa Bouaanania and Attarine Madrasa, one of the ancient schools in Fes.
Following that, head to a local restaurant in the old Medina of Fes where you’ll enjoy lunch. After that, continue your sightseeing tour of Fes by visiting Batha museum and then take you to Borj Nord where you’ll see the whole Medina of Fes and then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
Day 4: Fes – Cedar Forest – Midelt– Merzouga:
In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Fes, and depart toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga, appreciating the breathtaking landscapes along the way. We will stop in Ifrane, known as ” Morocco’s little Switzerland” where you’ll visit the Atlas Lion Statue and have a coffe before going to Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest forest where you’ll stop to ta take some photographs with Barbary monkeys. Proceed toward Zaida and Midelt, taking in the finest landscapes along the way. Arriving in Midelt known as the Apple capital where you’ll stop for lunch.
Continuing through Ziz Valley, admiring the finest sceneries along the way. Stopping at Tizi N Talghamt pass for some photographing opportunities over the High Atlas Mountains, Arriving in Aoufous, enjoy an outstanding panorama over the oasis before continue to Erfoud, known as ”the Date Capital” wewill visit a fossil museum in the city before crossing the lovely oasis of Tafilalet. Arriving in Merzouga desert where you’ll meet your camel guide and set off on a fabulous camel ride adventure through the dunes of Merzouga. Stopping to watch a marvelous sunset before continuing to your desert camp. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with mint tea, it’s time for a sandboarding experience before an overnight stay at your luxury desert camp with a fantastic drumming party around the campfire.
Day 5: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges:
Wake up early morning for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast at your luxury desert camp, We leave Merzouga desert heading toward Rissani, passing through the grey desert. Once in Rissani, visit Moulay Ali Cherif, Filalien leader and then stroll through the vibrant souks of Rissani before driving toward Todra Gorges, one of the Highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. We will stop in Melaab at Berber house where you can try Henna” known as ”The Moroccan Tattoo” pass through the palm groves of tinghir. Arriving at Todra gorges (320m), enjoy a walk through the gorges with a guide. After lunch in the heart of the Gorges.
We proceed toward Dades Gorges, admiring the finest sceneries along the way passing through the red Mountains; arrive in Dades Gorges, visi the famous rock formation known as Monkey Fingers and the wavy road of Tisadrine before taking you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night in Dades valley enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the city.
Day 6: Dades – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech
In the morning, depart toward Marrakech passing through Khemis Dades and Kalaat M’gouna, known as the rose city where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products then take the road of 1000 kasbah, enjoying the incredible landscapes along the way. Stopping at Ameridile kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the regions.
Next, continue toward Ouarzazate where you’ll visit Taourirt kasbah and Film Studio of Ouarazazate. After lunch at a local restaurant in the heart of the city. Proceed to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and best place for filmmakers including Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy. Late afternoon, cross the High Atlas Mountains, taking in the finest sceneries along the way. Stopping at Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 meters High). Arriving in Marrakech transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
Day 7 :Full Day TOUR OF Marrakech:
After breakfast at your accommodation in Marrakech, a local guide will take you on a full-day tour of Marrakech. Start with a visit to Saadian Tomb and Bahia Palace, where you can immerse yourself in the rich history of these historic attractions. Following that, explore Majorelle Gardens, a beloved destination filled with stunning plants and trees including Cactus, Palm trees, Bambo groves…etc. Continuing our tour, we will visit the Badi Palace and the vibrant. We will then proceed the tour to Menara garden, a popular attraction famous for its scenic beauty.
Next, we’ll visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the second largest Mosque in Morocco. Late afternoon, we’ll head to the old Medina of Marrakech, stroll through its lively streets and narrow alleys explore Souke Sekkakine and Semmarine before taking you to the famous Djamaa Lfena sequare where you’ll enjoy a variety of activities including snake chamers, musicianas and Storytellers. Late afternoon, take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
Day 8:Marrakech – Casablanca Airport:
In the morning and depending on your flight time, our driver will transfer you to the airport in Casablanca.
