Khenifra is a hidden city, the locals call is the pit, it’s surrounded by the Middle Atlas Mountains and it has a wonderful river cutting through it. The city is fun to visit. However, most of the amazement is outside the city. You can visit the source of the river Oum Erabia to see the beautiful water cascade and enjoy the walk and the local food. The Khenifra National Park is also something that makes the area beautiful; it’s a big forest of cedar trees and also home to two fascinating lakes and wild monkeys. The lakes are a beautiful spot for camping and fishing.

2- Ouezzane

If you’re the kind of tourist that enjoys places that have a religious aspect, this northern Secret city called Ouezzane might attract your attention. This city has always been associated with spirituality and miracles. Muslims consider this place a very spiritual haven because of all the Sufis who used to live there; they used to share their wisdom with the visitors. The mosques and the shrines are wonderful architectures. Some Jewish people even visit it for pilgrimage, to pay respect to their saints. 3- El Jadida

This coastal city is very famous among Moroccans for its beautiful coast that looks at the Atlantic Ocean, although it’s not very popular among foreign tourists. El Jadida has the Old Portuguese City called Mazagan, which is considered a world heritage by the UNESCO. The old European architecture of the city is a must-see, especially the underground water cisterns. The beaches near the city tend to be crowded. 4- Larache

Larache is Moroccan Northern city that has a Spanish feel to it, due to the remaining traces of colonialism. The walls of this beautiful coastal city are all painted in white, except for the walls of the local garden; these walls are all full of paintings that convey a lot of meaning and beauty. 7- Safi

Safi is another coastal secret place in Morocco that not many tourists know about. It’s one of the oldest Moroccan cities.  It dates back to 6th century BC. It was occupied by the Portuguese during the 15th and 16th centuries before they abandoned it. This city is also known for pottery. There you can check all the art that can be made of ceramic.

8- Paradise Valley

Not far away from the big city Agadir there’s a secret place near the village Imouzzer Ida Ou Tanane, which the Moroccan Hippies appreciate a lot. It’s called Paradise Valley. There are two cascades there that will take your breath because of how fascinating they are. Hiking there is something magical as you go from one set of cascades to the others and perhaps swim in the pool there, jumping from high rocks.

9- Oualidia

Oualidia is a popular destination for Moroccans during the holidays. The sandy beaches and the seafood there are quite irresistible, especially the oysters. During springtime you can visit the local wetlands to see the biodiversity of Oualidia, you can see flamingoes in there if you love these birds.

10- Fint

Fint is an oasis near Ouarzazat. Fint in the Berber language means hidden, which adds to the hidden secret places of Morocco. The oasis is a wonderful stop for camping if you’re the kind of person that likes the desert vibes and the palm trees all over.
