Itinerary FOR: 12 DAYS MOROCCO TOUR FROM TANGIER TO TANGIER:

Day 1: Tangier

Upon arrival at the airport in Tangier, our driver will be waiting for you to transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your 12 day Morocco tour from Tangier to Tangier.

Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen

In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Tangier then explore Tangier’s historic attractions including Hercules Caves, Cape Spartel where mediterranean sea meets the Atlantic ocean. Following that, we’ll head to the old Medina of Tangier walk through its lovely narrow streets. After that, we will pass through the Riff Mountains, admiring the incredible landscapes along the way. Making stop at Akchour waterfalls, one of the best waterfalls in the north of Morocco. Following that, we’ll continue toward Chefchaouen. Arriving in Chefchaouen, enjoy a guided tour through the incredible sites of the city, we’ll visit Ras Lma Waterfalls, Spanish Mosque and the old Medina of Chefchaouen before taking you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis -Meknes- Fes

 After breakfast at your accommodation in Chefchaouen. We’ll head Fes admiring the lovely landscapes along the way. Stopping at Volubilis, best preserved Roman ruins and UNESCO world heritage sites, explore the sites on a guided tour. Following that, We’ll take you toward Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, one of the top villages in the world. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities where you’ll visit Bab Mansour Gate, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and Qara Jail. After lunch in Meknes, we’ll continue to Fes where you’ll spend the third night of your 12 day Morocco tour from Tangier to Tangier.

Day 4: Fes FULL DAY TOUR:

After breakfast at your riad in Fes, we’ll set off on a sightseeing tour of Fes with local tour guide. We’ll explore the old Medina of Fes which is regarded a UNESCO world heritage site, walk through its lively narrow streets then explore Al Qaraouine University world’s oldest univesity. Following that, we’ll visit Tanneries where animal leather is used to make clothes, bags, shoes…etc. Afterward, continue your sightseeing tour of Fes by visiting Batha museum and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the founder of the city. After lunch at a local restaurant in the heart of the old Medina, we’ll take you to new part of Fes then take you to the southern tower where you can see the whole Medina of Fes. After that, we will transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, we will head toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga, crossing the middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop in Ifrane, famously known as ”Morocco’s little Switzerland” we will then continue toward Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest Forest. Following that, we’ll pass through Zaida and Midelt known as ”The Apple Capital” where you’ll have lunch before heading toward Errachidia admiring the lovely landscapes along the way. We ‘ll stop at Tizi N Talghamt pass where you will stop for some photographing opportunities. After that, we arrive in Aoufous where you’ll see one of the largest oasis in Morocco. After that, cross the palm groves of Tafilalet. Arriving in Merzouga desert where you’ll enjoy a camel ride through the dunes of Merzouga deset. Stopping for a breathtaking sunset then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night with a drumming party around the campfire.

Day 6: Merzouga – Erg chebbi – Merzouga

Wake up early morning for a breathtaking sunrise ove the dunes of Merzouga. After that, enjoy breakfast. Then, start a sightseeing tour of Merzouga desert, we’ll visit  nomad families where you’ll learn about the Berber culture and experience their lifestyle. After that, we’ll head to Khamlia village where you’ll meet an gnwa musical group, listen to their music and then continue to Hass lbeid oasis. After that, buggy or quad ride, if interested then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

In the morning, We depart toward Dades Gorges, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. We’ll stop at the city of Rissani where you’ll walk through the vibrant souks of Rissani then head to Todra Gorges admiring the finest sceneries along the way. We will pass through the majestic palm groves of Tinghir. Arriving at Todra Gorges where you’ll enjoy a walk through the gorges with your guide. Following that, we’ll head toward Dades Gorges where you’ll visit the Rock formation known as ” Monkey Fingers” then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 8:Dades Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakesh

After breakfast at your accommodation in Dades Gorges. We’ll head toward Marrakech passing through kalaat M’gouna, known as the rose city where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. Following that, we’ll pass through the road of 1000 kasbahs, admiring the amazing landscapes along the way. We’ll stop at Ameridile kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region. Then continue to Ouarzazate. Arriving in Ouarzazate where you’ll visit Taourirt kasbah and film Studio of Ouarzazate. Following that, we’ll drive toward Marrakech passing through Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site where several movies have been filmed like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy.

Afterward, we’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains. Arriving in Marrakech then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 9:Marrakesh – Essaouira – Marrakesh

 In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your Riad in Marrakech and depart toward Essaouira, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Passing through Argan trees along the way then we’ll make stop at harvesting goats along the way where you’ll have the chance to take some photographs. Afterwards, we’ll visit an Argan oil cooperative where you’ll learn about the Argan oil making process. Upon arrival in Essaouira, explore the old Medina of Esaouira, walk through its lively streets then visit The Art Gallery. After that, walk through the beaches of Essaouira where you’ll enjoy the breathtaking atmosphere. Late afternoon, explore Essaouira port where you’ll see the Blue boats known as the Berber boats. After a heart lunch by the beaches Essaouira,we’ll head back to Marrakech enjoy the amazing sceneries along the way. Arriving in Marrakech then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 10: Marrakech Full day tour:

 In the morning, Start your sightseeing tour of Marrakech with local tour guide. We’ll first visit the old Medina of Marrakech, walk through its lovely streets filled with spice shops, workshops, cooperatives and then take you to Ben Youssef Madrasa, one of the ancient Qoranic schools in Marrakech. After that, we’ll head to Majorelle garden, a lovely attractions with exotic plants, trees and green spaces. Following that, we’ll visit Saadian Tombs and Badi Palace before heading to Menara Garden. After hearty lunch in the old Medina Marrakech. We’ll explore Koutoubia Mosque, second largest mosque in Morocco. Day 11:Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah
