ITINERARY FOR: 2 NIGHTS CAMEL TREKKING IN MERZOUGA DESERT

Your two-night camel trekking experience in Merzouga begins in the late afternoon, usually between 5:00 and 6:00 PM, depending on the season. You will depart from your hotel or a designated meeting point near the Erg Chebbi dunes, where your camel caravan awaits.

After a brief introduction and safety guidance from your experienced camel handler, the journey into the Sahara begins. The camels are carefully prepared and equipped with essential supplies for the expedition. The ride into the dunes lasts approximately ninety minutes, allowing you to gradually leave the village behind and immerse yourself in the profound silence of the desert. As the sun lowers, the sand shifts through golden and amber tones, creating a truly atmospheric setting.

Upon reaching the camp, you will climb a nearby dune to witness the sunset stretching endlessly across the horizon.
