Our 5 days tour from Fes to Merzouga Desert offers a more remote and authentic experience through the Central High Atlas Mountains, traditional Berber villages, first you’ll pass cedar forest in Azrou, proceed through Zaida small berber village then cross the high atlas Mountains to Imilchil , stop at lac Tislit before heading and overnight in Todra gorges .

Following this we will pass through lovely oasis of Tinghir and continue to the Sahara with overnight stay in the middle of the dune here you’ll make tour around the desert and visit family nomadic , Afterward you’ll returne to Fes via Ziz valley and transfer you to the airport .

Itinerary FOR; 5 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MERZOUGA DESERT:

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Imilchil :

In the morning you’ll picked you up from your accommodation in Fes and head twards Imilchil appreciating the breathtaking landscape along the way ,we’ll stop in ifrane known as ” Little Morocco’s Switzerland ” here you’ll visit the Atlas lions Statue, before going to Cedar forest of Azrou Morocco’s largest forest where you will stop to take some photographs with barbary monkeys , Before heading to small village of Zaida , where you will stop to Lunch.

Following that , we will a cross the high Atlas Mountains best place to meet local nomads, admiring the finest sceneries along the way ,Stopping at Lake Tislit and Isli for take some photographing opportunities before heading to Imilchil where you’ll spend the night

Day 2: Imilchil – Agoudal – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert :

in the morning , after traditional breakfast at your accommodation in Imilchil , depart toward the Sahara of Merzouga , admiring the finest sceneries along the way passing Agoudal is one of the highest villages in Morocco 2300 m , Stop at Tizi N Tigherrhouzine ( 2645 m ) pass offering panoramic views of the Central High Atlas. Proceed toward Berber village of Ait Hani taking in the finest landscapes along the way .

Following that , proceed toward Tinghir , Arriving at Todra Gorges 320 m one of the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco , enjoy walk through the gorges with a guide , after the lunch in the heart of the gorges , then we will pass through the palm groves of Tinghir , Arriving place where you will visit Khattarat after that before heading to Merzouga where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3: Tour around Merzouga desert – Visit the Families nomadic:

After breakfast at your accommodation in Merzouga , our driver will pick you up then start your tour around the high dunes of Merzouga, visit Merzouga area here you’ll meet the nomadic Berber families still living in the area, explore their lifestyle and way of life, taste a Berber pizza. then visit old French colonial Mines , the area around M’ifis is rich in fossils, including trilobites and ammonites, following that head to Khamlia, listen to African music,

Next, we’ll head to Merzouga where you will have lunch. Following that, visit Hassi lbeid Oasis and enjoy a panoramic view of Merzouga. In the late afternoon, meet your camel guide and set off on a fabulous camel ride adventure through the dune of Merzouga , Stopping to watch incredible sunnset in the high dune it’s time for a sandboarding experience , before continuing to the desert camp , Upon arrival , you’ll be welcomed you with mint tea , and overnight stay at your desert camp with fantastic drumming party around the campfire.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes :

Your hosts at the camp will wake you up early in the morning to watch an incredible sunrise. After breakfast at the camp, your driver will pick you up and take you to the next destination, Midelt, admiring the finest sceneries Along the way, passing Erfoud the ” date Capital ” crossing the lovely oasis , Arriving Aoufous, stopping at panorama over the oasis of Ziz Valley before continuing to Midelt passing Tizi N Talghomt in the middle Atlas Mountains , Arriving at Midelt where you’ll stop for lunch.

Following that , continue through the cedar forest admiring the finest sceneries along the way , stop in ifran and have a cafe, then head to Fes , where you will spend the night .

Day 5: Transfer to the airport

In the morning and depending on your flight , our driver will transfer you to the airport
