Itinerary FOR: 6 DAYS TOUR FROM TANGIER TO MARRAKECH VIA MERZOUGA DESERT:

Day 1: TANGER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES:

Upon arrival at the airport or port in Tangier. Our driver will welcome you, and then head to Fes admiring the finest sceneries along the way. We’ll pass through Akchour waterfall, one of the finest waterfalls in Morocco, walk through the river and appreciate its marvelous landscapes. We will then continue to Chefchauen crossing the Riff Mountains.

Arriving in Chefchouen, enjoy a guided tour through the old Medina of Chefchouen then visit the Spanish Mosque and Ras El ma waterfall. Afterward, head to Fes, one of Morocco’s ancient Imperial cities passing through Volubilis, best preserved Roman ruins and UNESCO world heritage site, enjoy a guided tour through this archeological sites then continue to Fes where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: EXPLORING FES – IFRANE –MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAIN – MIDELT :

After breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, we’ll visit the old Medina of Fes, walk through its busy streets then visit Al Qarauine university, the world’s oldest university and UNESCO world heritage site. Following that, visit Tanneries where animal leather is used to make clothes, bags, shoes…etc. Afterward, we’ll visit Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the founder of the city. After that, set off toward Midelt enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. We’ll pass through Ifrane, Morocco’s Little Switzerland where you’ll visit the Atlas Lion Statue then continue toward Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest Forest. We’ll cross the middle Atlas Mountains. Arriving in Midelt then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3: MIDELT – RISSANI – MERZOUGA DESERT AND CAMELTREKKING :

After breakfast at your accommodation in Midelt. We’ll depart toward Merzouga desert, taking in the finest sceneries along the way. We’ll stop at Tizi N Talghamt pass where you’ll have the chance to take some photographs. After that, continue to Merzouga desert. Stopping at a lovely panorama over the villages of Aoufous where you will see one of the largest oasis in Morocco. Then proceed through Arfoud, known as ” The date Capital” where you’ll visit a fossil museum then continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where you will meet your camel guide and set off on a camel ride adventure through the dunes of Merzouga. Stopping at High dunes where you’ll watch a breathtaking sunset then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4:MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGE- DADES VALLEY- OUARZAZATE:

In the morning, wake up for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga, then head to Dades Gorges admiring the incredible landscapes along the way. Arriving in Erissani, one of the ancient cities in Morocco, stroll through the lively souks of Rissani. continue toward Todra Gorges, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way.

We will stop in Melaab where you’ll visit a Berber hourse, try Henna, known as the Moroccan Tattoo. Continue to Todra gorges enjoy a walk through the gorges with your local tour guide. Explore the gorges (320 meters). After that, proceed to Dades Gorges through the Red Mountains. Arriving in Dades Gorges where you’ll visit the rock formation known as Moneky fingers and the wavy road of Tisadrine before transferring you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5:OUARZAZATE- AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH- MARRAKECH:

After breakfast at your accommodation in Dades Gorges. We’ll head to Marrakech taking the road of 1000 kasbahs, passing through Khemis Dades and Kalaat M’gouna, known as the rose city where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. After that, we’ll pass through Skoura, home to 1000 kasbahs, we’ll visit Ameridile kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region.

Following that, continue toward Ouarzazate known as ”Hollywood of Africa” where you’ll visit Taourirt kasbah and Film Studio of Ouarzazate. After that, continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and best place for filmmakers including Gladiator, Game of Thrones and the Mummy. After lunch, we’ll drive to Marrakech passing through Tizi N Tichkas pass (2260m). Late afternoon, arrive in Marrakech then transfer you to your accommodation in Marrakech where you’ll spend the night.

Day 6: DRIVE TO THE AIRPORT:

In the morning and depending on your flight time, our driver will transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
