Itinerary FOR; 8 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH:

Day1: Fes- hotel

Our guide is waiting for you in Fez to pick you up to the hotel. At 10 o’clock in the morning, you are driven to the hotel in Fez to relax and have breakfast. After that, a journey throughout Fez is wonderful to know more about Morocco’s biggest city. You are going to visit the city of one million people where you will enjoy the time within old medina of Fez and how special the atmosphere is. It is authentic with warm breeze of the past. It is a place to take photos where landmarks are very attractive. Lunch is served in the hotel where you take a nap and rest. However, make yourself ready to spend the night in the Riad in the middle of old Media of Fez where a wonderful party is organized.

Day2: Exploring Fes

The second day is dedicated to explore the ” Athena of Africa” city or Fez in other words. Many of visitors call it ”Mecca of the west” because it is regarded as Morocco’s one of the four imperial cities. However, it was Morocco’s former capital city. Through our journey, we are going to explore the three distinct parts of the city: the oldest part that is surrounded by a huge bold wall, and is called ” Fez el Bali” where it includes more than 9000 streets. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with almost narrow and ancient alleys, where past tells about the story of old Fes. The new Fes or Fez-Jdid is considered as the Jewish quarter where the Mellah home is. Meanwhile, Fes’s newest part ” the Ville Nouvelle” was established at the time of the French occupation; it is an influential site with a great history. The medina of Fez el Bali is considered the largest medina in the world where the University of Al-Karaouine; the oldest university in the world exists. The still- operating university was founded in AD 859.  

Day3: Volubilis- Moulay Idriss- Meknes- Rabat

A UNESCO World Heritage Site is the first destination in the trip’s third day. After breakfast, we will travel to Volubilis, the land of the Roman ruins that are the hugest preservation of Roman influences in North Africa. Volubilis retains detailed spectacular mosaics in spite of the disastrous earthquake of 1755. The Roman town preserved beauty despite damages and disasters.  However, Meknes is our next station; it is the city that was a major origin of the Roman Empire. In addition, it was known as Miknasa because of the 10th Berber settlement. After that, it became one of the Imperial cities. In a magical journey, we will delve into the ancient authentic part of old Meknes. It is an exciting tale about history, past, glory, and magic. After that, we are going to move to Morocco’s today capital of Rabat. In Rabat, we are going to visit a series of landmarks as Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum and Kasbah of Oudaias.

Day4: Casablanca- Marrakech

In the morning, we are going to explore the most beautiful Islamic work of art, that is situated outside Hassan II Mosque. It is an impressive production of fine arts, which attracts many around the world. You will know how important and influential Casablanca is for Morocco through this visit. In the afternoon, our interesting experience continues more forward to Marrakech, where we will enjoy four hours of driving across the road. You are introduced to the richness of Moroccan north where history is unique and glamour. However, you will visit, after that, the famous square of Djemaa el Fna in the heart of Marrakech.  However, the square of Djemaa el Fna was the place where sultans display heads of enemies, so that the name means ‘place of death’. Now, the square is a metaphor for joy, happiness, and entertainment. Djemaa el Fna is famous for its’ snake charmers, welcoming musicians, water-sellers, and busy food stalls. It is the place where all Moroccans and foreign visitors choose to spend a wonderful time.

Day5: Exploring Marrakech

We will have an interesting guided tour to old medina of Marrakech. It is going to be exciting, exploring the famous landmarks of the region. Out of the most distinctive attractions in Marrakech, you will visit the well- known mosque of Koutubia. After that, a visit to medina and its original old- flavored souks is one of the most attractive secrets of Marrakech. However, a wonderful visit to the Koranic school of Ali Ben Youssef is influential if you are interested to know more about the cultural background. Moreover, you are going to visit the Bahia Palace where Majorelle Gardens are. At last, the night is celebrated in the narrow alleys of medina in a cozy Riad.

Day6: Essaouria

By the beautiful Atlantic coast, our destination is. We are going to pick up our luggage and drive forward to Essaouira. This coastal town will definitely make you feel relaxed. However, it is the 15th Portuguese old port of fishing, which makes it a landmark of visit. Sidi Mohammed ben Abdullah had established the new current town of Essaouira in 1760 as a result to be protected from the rebellion in Agadir. Today, Essaouira is famous for its tranquility where white covers all coastal houses to create a beautiful picture with its colored tiles and shutters. There are alot of artisan’s workshops throughout Essaouira, which gives a cultural impact about the region. However, boats, fish, and anglers create the perfect market for Marrakech and Morocco as whole, where fish is fresh. In the afternoon, the time allows you to do shopping before taking a quite camel ride along the beach. It is relaxing to walk to the harbor with your freinds then take the spread boats within a spectacular trip into the coast.

Day7: Exploring Essaouira and Majorelle Gardens

Today is special to explore Essaouria’s coastal streets and the winding ramparts. However, a final shopping in Marrakech is going to be your chance to obtain souvenirs from old medina. Meanwhile, you are going to experience new activities as drawing horse carriages, which is called a Calèche ride. You will take it along the way to Majorelle Gardens that form a cozy place of Islamic art. In the end, you can try the amazing traditional warm hammam as a final experience before leaving Morocco. 

Day8: Airport 

Get ready to bid farewell to the land of majestic beauty where you will like to visit it once again. You will be driven from Riad to the airport. Wish you a relaxing time.
