Itinerary FOR; 10 DAYS TOUR FROM CASABLANCA TO IMPERIAL CITIES, CHEFCHAOUEN, AND MERZOUGA DESERT:

Day1: Casablanca – Transfer to the hotel

We will come to welcome  you at Casablanca Mohamed V airport and take you to the hotel.

And on the way you will have a brief view about the places that we will visit during the trip.

Day2: Casablanca – Rabat – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

In the hotel we will have breakfast at around 8 then the first place to go is a Moroccan tourist destination which is Chefchaouen or ( blue  city) that is located in the southern part of the Mediterranean coast in the Northwest of Morocco.

Chefchaouen is famous for its traditional old buildings and the blue and white walls. And this gives you the chance to take wonderful photos.

Also this gives you a chance for knowing more about its traditional  handicrafts.

The city is famous for its fantastic views of the mountains .

The day will be ended by  arriving to   Chefchaouen to stay the night.

Day3:Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen – Fes

Depart for Fes. The road to Fes takes us along a beautiful stretch of farmlands where olives, grain, vegetables and grapes are grown. Before arriving to Fes you will visit Meknes and Volubilis. Volubilis is the sight of the famous Roman ruins left from the Roman Empire’s most southern outpost. Meknes is the site of the first Arab dynasty created by Moulay Ismail and has the Medersa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. This leads us into the Henri es-Souani, the horses stable and granaries. Upstairs is a rooftop garden and cafe with a great view of the city. Arrive into Fes, check into the hotel.

Day4: Full Day To Visit Fes

Fes is the oldest living city in the world and exploring it needs a whole day so we will visit it with a  local guide

We will go shopping in the old  souks and the gateway of the Royal palace and the Karaouine mosque and university.

We will  lunch in a traditional restaurant in the old city  after visiting  the tomb of “Moulay Idriss II “.

Then we will end our day by going to Harem Garden, Batha museum and the Najarin fountain. And enjoying the city views before going back to the hotel.

Day5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our destination today is Merzouga so after breakfast we will start our journey crossing the Atlas mountains and Ifrane to arrive finally to cedar forests of Azrou and this gives you the chance to enjoy one of the best places  to take photos in the wilderness and watch   wild monkeys there.

In Zaida we will have lunch and then start traveling through the Atlas mountains and arrive to Rich town after coming across the downhill of Medilt and arriving to Erfoud and the oasis of Tafilalet are the last places to visit before arriving to Merzouga “Sahara desert ” to  stay the night in a nice hotel near the sandy dunes.

Day6: Merzouga – Berber Families – Black Desert – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Sahara)

This day is specialized for exploring the desert and the first place we will visit is Khamilia in which we will enjoy the music and know about the way of living of this village who originally slaves brought from Sudan.

After that there is a nice lake that gives you the chance to see many birds as flamingos, it is the lake of Merzouga.

It is a good idea to visit a nomadic wire house in which the price of handcrafts will be lower than in the big cities.

The afternoon will pass by a guided camels trek with an experienced camel man  and this gives you the chance to enjoy the beauty of magnificent sand- sea of Erg chebbi to have unforgettable night under desert stars or stay in a nomadic Berber tents.

The tents offers you bed ,dinner and breakfast.

Day7: Merzouga – Errissani – Jorf – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley/ Gorges

the place a magnificent sights so you will be waken up very early in order not to miss the  these fantastic views .

The breakfast will be after a camel riding for about 2 hours  to arrive at a Kasbah where we will have breakfast and showers.

After that the journey will be completed to the fortified village of Rissani in the Tafilalet region.

 

Rissani which is flourished in the 17th century, and has the tomb  of Moulay Ali Sharif who is the first ruler of the Alawite dynasty  , is a traditional village located near Ziz valley.

Our journey today will include visiting of many places by passing through the downhill of the Atlas mountains to arrive to Todra Gorges and then to the wonderful green valley of Tinerhir Oasis in which there are a lot of palm trees.

Also we will stay the night in  a hotel  in the Dades valley or ” Valley of 1000 Kasbahs “.

Day8:Dades – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

We will start our journey after having breakfast in the hotel. So through Skhoura we will go to Ouarzazate.  Also it is a good idea to stop near the movies studios in the Kasbah of Taourirt to have a wonderful choice of taking photos .

The lunch will be in a local restaurant in Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.  Also after crossing Tizi N tichka pass  (2260 m) we will arrive to Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day9:Full Day To Visit Marrakech

Marrakech is a fantastic city so exploring it needs a full day tour  . So we will start by visiting Menara that is a pool surrounded by some irrigation systems that irrigates many  nearby fields.

Then we planned to visit many places as : The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens and Bahia palace. Also the museum of jewelry which is  Dar si Said museum

You have the choice if you want to have lunch before starting by walking through the beautiful souks of Marrakech. It is a good idea to have a drink in a terrace of a café while watching the sunset over the Jamaa El Fna square.

Then we will have dinner and stay the night in a hotel there.

Day10:Marrakech – Airport

We will finish this 10 day tour by taking you either to Marrakech airport or Casablanca’.
